New Delhi: The West Asia crisis triggered by the US and Israel’s attack on Iran entered day 122 on Monday (June 29). Following fresh airstrikes by the US against Iran, Tehran has threatened a “complete halt” in negotiations to end the war if Washington continues its attacks.Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday (June 28) reiterated the claim that Tehran must govern the strait of Hormuz.“Any attempt to establish new or separate arrangements from those currently being carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran will only lead to further complications, delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and increase the level of tension,” said Araghchi.Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard has also claimed responsibility for the attacks in Bahrain and Kuwait.
