Petrol with 20% ethanol, i.e., E20, is a mandate now. The government has launched E85 and has legally authorised E100 (absolute ethanol) to replace petrol. In this video, we talk to a mechanic about the effect of this petrol on vehicles and what can be done to make vehicles fit for ethanol-blended petrol.We also talk to activists and try to fact-check the government’s claim of ethanol being a green fuel that uplifts the income and living standards of farmers.
