Two days ago, on the night of December 16-17, a massive fire broke out in the Rohingya refugee camp in Nuh, Mewat of Haryana. Over 32 shanties were gutted in the fire. The shanties, a part of a small compact camp, was home to over 100 people, among them several children and women. As the residents scramble for resources with ration, documents and clothes now turned into ash, women struggle for privacy as they battle insecurity. The Wire‘s Sumedha Pal and Yaqut Ali visited the camp to see the current condition of the refugees.
