New Delhi: As many as six people are reported to have died after a multi-storey building which housed cafes, offices and a tuition centre near the Saket Metro station collapsed on May 30.Photos of the site have revealed a harrowing picture, showing the structure reduced to rubble and surrounding areas affected as well. Reports say that a tin-shed canteen frequented by students preparing for the medical entrance exams was also severely affected in the collapse.While some accounts have it that the building was three storeys, others describe it as five-storeyed seeing that construction was afoot to build new storeys when the building collapsed.Debris scattered near the Saket Metro station, in New Delhi, Sunday, May 31, 2026.
