One would have assumed that gender-positive changes would take place earlier than in other circles among such highly educated scientists.
Citations alone won’t be able to tell the full story: a good scientist needn’t be cited heavily – but not all those who are cited heavily are good scientists.
It will probably take more than 10 years for these institutes to even register on the Indian research landscape. For them to become global players will require much more.
