New Delhi: The storm clouds have yet to pass over Hardik Pandya and K.L Rahul for their sexist comments on an episode of Coffee with Karan aired in January. Though the two have returned to playing cricket after the BCCI lifted their suspensions on January 24, a case has been registered against them and Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar in Jodhpur.
“Case registered against Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul & Karan Johar in Jodhpur for comments made during Johar’s talk show in December last year,” news agency ANI reported.

An inquiry is yet to take place into the matter, for which an ombudsman is to be appointed by the Supreme Court.
After the controversy broke out after the episode was aired, Johar had said he felt “very responsible” about the repercussions that the cricketers had to face as they had made some misogynistic remarks on his chat show.
Since then, Pandya has been playing ODIs for India in New Zealand, while K.L. Rahul joined the India A team for matches against England Lions.
Pandya picked 4 wickets and scored 61 runs as India won the five-match series 4-1.
