Mumbai: Two men were arrested after they were seen sexually harassing a woman in Mumbai on her live-stream. Mumbai police had said that she is a foreigner, originally from South Korea.A video has surfaced showing the YouTuber being approached and harassed by a man and his companion on a motorcycle, on a street in Mumbai. The video showed the man coming very close to her in spite of her saying ‘no’ to him. He tries to pull her towards the motorcycle by holding her hand when she protests.An account which purports to belong to the woman has retweeted a video clip from the livestream. She also noted that people attempted to make her believe that she had “initiated” the episode by “being too friendly.”“Last night on stream, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best not to escalate the situation and leave because he was with his friend. And some people said that it was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging the conversation. On Thursday morning, Mumbai police tweeted that both men have been arrested. Reports say they have been booked under section 345 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.Mumbai Police’s Khar Police station has taken a Suo Moto action in an incident that happened with a Korean woman (foreigner) in the jurisdiction of Khar West.
