New Delhi: The youth movement across the country over the NEET paper leak issue and dismal state of education shows no signs of slowing on Thursday (July 23). The protestors have refused to call off their strike until Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns and the walls in New Delhi have turned into canvases for slogans, warnings and messages. In his first reaction, Modi today did not make any mention of the protests which are underway at Jantar Mantar, or the demands for Pradhan’s resignation or the police brutality unleashed on students. The opposition parties have underlined that they will discuss the NEET paper leak issue in the ongoing monsoon session of parliament only after Pradhan resigns from his post.“Tut gaya Nehru ka record” which means “Nehru’s record is broken,” reads a graffiti on one of the walls in Delhi.
