Biren Singh in it.To the portal Northeast Live, the playwright said that he does not believe that the committee can do much at this point.Thiyam is quoted as having said, “There is so much violence and we are yet to hear a word from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”He added that there is need of political will and political power.“Unless the Centre comes to the picture, the situation will continue to be alarming,” he added.Thiyam is the latest to withdraw from this committee. Northeast Live has named three civil society organisations, COCOMI, Kuki Inpi and ITLF as having withdrawn from the panel.Various Kuki representatives including Kuki Inpi Manipur president Ajang Khongsai and retired Indian Defence Accounts Service officer J.
