Former IPS officer Asim Arun joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on January 16. He will be contesting from Samajwadi Party’s bastion Kannauj.Only a month after he quit his job as a police commissioner from Kanpur, he was served a notice for violation of the model code of conduct.
