Even though the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown has been lifted, many daily wage earners are still struggling to find employment. They have not recovered from the financial losses incurred during the lockdown, when their work had to be stopped abruptly. To survive, they had to take several informal loans during the lockdown.
