New Delhi: Congress Rae Bareli MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Friday (July 12) has urged everyone to refrain from using derogatory language against former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Smriti Irani, emphasising that humiliating others is a sign of weakness, not strength.Gandhi’s post on social media platform X encouraged respectful behaviour towards political opponents, stating, “I urge everyone to refrain from using derogatory language and being nasty towards Smt. Irani had defeated Gandhi in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the same constituency.Congress leader Sachin Pilot praised Gandhi for the move.
