New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav said on Thursday (February 5) that Hindutva itself is the essence of nationhood and India takes pride in it. He added that Adi Shakaracharya took Sanatan culture to new heights and he also shared a special bond with Madhya Pradesh, reported The Free Press Journal.Yadav made the remarks while speaking at a “Sant Sammelan” in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar, during the ‘Pratima Pran Pratishtha’ at the Gurudev Samadhi Mandir organised by the Samanvay Seva Trust on Thursday.Yadav said on the occasion that the Madhya Pradesh government was making arrangements for organising Simhastha, a massive Hindu pilgrimage event held in Ujjain. He also invited godmen from Uttarakhand to the event which is to be held in 2028 in Ujjain.During his visit to Uttarakhand, Yadav also met yoga guru Ramdev and performed yoga with the latter, reported The Free Press Journal.The chief minister said that under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi, yoga became a global movement. Yadav also appealed to everyone to make yoga a part of their daily life.
