New Delhi: Two nephews of former Haryana chief minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manohar Lal Khattar have joined the Congress party. While Khattar himself has always denied having a family, the Khattar family from Sirsa have maintained that they are his relatives ever since he first became chief minister.Pradeep Khattar and Gururaj Khattar criticised the BJP and said the party did not respect its workers, The Tribune reported. Their move to the Congress was led by Congress Sirsa candidate Kumari Selja. “Gururaj Khattar targeted the former Chief Minister, accusing him of neglecting the family during his 10-year tenure and adopting a strategy of pressure against them for their entry into the Congress,” the newspaper reported.The two men’s other uncle, lawyer and BJP member Bhupendra Khattar, did not comment on their decision to join the Congress, The Tribune reported.
