Kerala votes on April 9 and results will be declared on May 4. In a state famous for changing the government every five years, the Left Democratic Front is hoping to come back for a third term. The United Democratic Front, however, believes it’s in a good position this time. While the Bharatiya Janata Party is not a statewide force, there is talk of the party gaining some ground in particular constituencies like Nemom and Palakkad, perhaps upsetting the direct bipolar fight in these places.
