After the murder of a Dalit teenager in Hathras, some TV channels finally took up the matter prominently for two-three days. For them, was this coverage a piece of journalism or just a kind of Peepli Live?

Now, all those channels are starting to speak the language of the ruling party. They are describing the opposition’s activism on the Hathras incident as part of an alleged conspiracy. Urmilesh talks to three senior journalists about this.
