Ever since the farmers started strongly opposing the government’s three agricultural laws, the campaign to discredit their movement has intensified. TV news channels, which have become the voice of the ruling party, sometimes called the farmers ‘Khalistani’. At other times they said there is a conspiracy by the opposition to mislead farmers.The question remains, though, why are channels refusing to talk about the laws themselves, and the issues raised by the agitating farmers?
