New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday allowed CPI(M) leader Mohd Yusuf Tarigami to travel back to his home state Jammu and Kashmir.A bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justices S.A. Bobde and S.A. Nazeer said that the former MLA does not need any permission to go home if doctors at the AIIMS allow him.Also read: Breaking: Government Detains Farooq Abdullah Under Draconian PSAThe former MLA alleged that his vehicle has been taken away and he will be confined to his home. The ailing leader was shifted to the AIIMS on September 9 following the apex court’s order.The party’s general secretary Sitaram Yechury had been allowed to meet Tarigami on August 29 after the Supreme Court gave him permission. Before the court’s order, Yechury was not allowed to meet his colleague.(With PTI inputs)
