Healthcare personnel of several major hospitals in the country, including the Indian Medical Association (IMA), AIIMS Delhi, Delhi Medical Association, recently wrote to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan asking the Health Ministry to take action against Ramdev.Ramdev had recently made irresponsible statements against allopathy and scientific medicine. Describing Ramdev’s statement as “very unfortunate”, Harsh Vardhan wrote a letter to the former, asking him to withdraw his statement.
