Surat: City constable Sunita Yadav claimed that she had resigned from her post after a confrontation with a minister’s son over his lockdown curfew violation leading to his arrest. However, a senior police officer has denied this claim.Gujarat’s Minister of State for Heath, Kuman Kanani’s son Prakash Kanani and two of his friends were arrested on Sunday for allegedly violating the lockdown and night curfew orders in Surat, a senior police official stated.An FIR was filed and the arrests were made after Yadav pulled over the three friends for lockdown curfew violation and a video of a heated exchange between them surfaced on social media. I was only doing my duty as a constable.
