The farm bills, opposition MPs allege, were passed on September 20 through a contentious voice vote despite their demands for a division vote.
Rajya Sabha deputy chairman Harivansh later sought to clarify that the MPs had called for division when they were not in their seats. House rules require MPs to be in their seats while asking for division.
However, official Rajya Sabha footage that The Wire has accessed now shows that at least two MPs were in their seats when they demanded division vote for their motions.
