New Delhi: West Bengal Governor C.V. Ananda Bose has resigned from his post, reports said on Thursday. The move has triggered a sharp political reaction from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who claimed the decision may be linked to the upcoming Assembly elections in the state.Bose, who had several public disagreements with the state government during his tenure, is currently in New Delhi. She suggested that the governor may have faced pressure from the Union government in the run-up to the elections.“The reasons behind his resignation are not known to me at this moment.
