New Delhi: Heavy monsoon rainfall and rising water levels in rivers have caused flooding in several parts of India, affecting people in Tripura, Assam, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh among others. Rescue operations and evacuations are underway as people navigate flooded roads in submerged areas.
