Sanjay Baru, a geopolitical analyst and former media advisor to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, says Singh had maintained good relations with China and BRICS, however, things had changed as India turned somewhat away from the international organisation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Now that the world is in a fresh churn after the US-Iran war has become unpredictable, India must work more closely with China as well as BRICS.
