On Thursday (September 21), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri used anti-Muslim slurs against his parliament colleague Danish Ali of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).Almost a week on, with no action against the BJP MP yet, RJD MP Manoj Kumar Jha tells The Wire that Bidhuri would have apologised if prime minister Narendra Modi said that he won’t tolerate such language.
