New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Adityanath has said that Asaduddin Owaisi, head of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will be forced to leave Hyderabad if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins the Telangana elections.“If the BJP forms the government in Telangana, I can tell you that Owaisi will have to run away just like the Nizam was compelled to run away from Hyderabad. The BJP will give security to all but will not allow those who spread anarchy,” Adityanath said. The UP chief minister also brought up a video which shows Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath saying that Muslim supporters of the Congress should ensure that 90% of the community should vote for the grand old party. “Kamal Nath said they don’t need SC, ST votes. They need just the votes of Muslims. You keep your Ali, for us Bajrang Bali will be enough.”Also read: As Congress Seizes the Moment in Telangana, Sonia and Rahul Gandhi Appear Confident“Congress says if it forms a government in Telangana it will provide area development funds to Muslims. Congress policies are divisive, with wrong intentions,” Adityanath continued. He also charged that it was due to the Congress that a Ram temple had not been built in Ayodhya yet.BJP president Amit Shah has also been using a similar argument in his campaign across Telangana. “Even TRS president and caretaker chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has promised 12% quota for Muslims only with eye on their vote bank,” Shah said. “It is because of this minorities’ appeasement by the TRS and the Congress that Majis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Akbaruddin Owaisi was emboldened to say that whichever party that comes to power in Telangana would have to be subservient to the MIM.”Also read: KCR’s Empty Promises on Jobs May Cost Him in TelanganaIn response to Adityanath, Owaisi said at a rally that India was his father’s country and nobody could make him leave.“It is my religious belief that Prophet Adam when he descended on the earth from paradise, he came to India. Thus India is my father’s country and nobody can force me flee,” the Hyderabad MP said at an election rally on Sunday night.Owaisi said the UP chief minister was ignorant of history, as the Nizam did not flee Hyderabad.“Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan did not flee Hyderabad. He was made ‘Raj Pramukh’ and when there was war with China, he offered his gold to India,” said Owaisi.Asaduddin Owaisi in Malakpet, Hyderabad: Ye mulk aapka hai, mera nahi hai?
