Ten years ago, artist Paul Fernandes set out on a journey along the west coast of India for a sketching expedition. He wanted to capture the beauty, the architecture, the culture and the people in his watercolours, but with a quirky eye.The result is Coast Line, a coffee table book replete with drawings of Mumbai, Goa, Mangalore and a bit of Kerala. In its pages, the reader can find the chaos of the metropolis, the laid back susegaad spirit of Goa and the food and a wedding in Mangalore.A Mangalore wedding.
