The farmers’ movement has now reached a turning point. As seen in Barnala and other parts of the country, farmers are holding mahapanchayats to mobilise more support for the demand to repeal the three Central farm laws. Most of the farmers and their unions in western Uttar Pradesh have joined hands, making a decision that the movement will continue until these laws are repealed.
