    What has been stated are hard facts . The Government by refusing the ground realities is encouraging the patriarchal mindset of Indian society . The Government’s own commitee report Pam Rajput Committee has recommended steps to end this practise as suggested by the Verma Commitee report but it is yet to see the light of the day . Have been trying to obtain a copy of Pam Rajput Committee report from the Government for the past two years , but have not succeeded . What is the Government trying to hide ?
