The minister of state for finance, Arjun Ram Meghwal, on Tuesday said that his official Twitter account was hacked and someone had posted “undesirable content” on the page.
Meghwal claimed in a tweet that a complaint for the same had been registered.
Someone has hacked into my twitter account & posted undesirable content. Complaint has been lodged.

The BJP leader’s complaint comes just weeks after similar incidents of unauthorised access into the e-mail and Twitter accounts of the Indian National Congress, Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi, industrialist Vijay Mallya and media organisation NDTV were reported last month.
Congress had at the time raises questions on the digital safety of all Indians after messages laden with expletives and profanities were posted on its page.
These breaches had been linked to an anonymous hacker group called ‘Legion,’ which reportedly had claimed responsibility for the same.
